ANR LEAP Physics

par Bogdan MALAESCU - 7 août

The ANR project « LEAP Physics » (« The Lund Jet Plane for Precision Physics ») aims at studying the jet substructure employing the Lund Jet Plane observable. The studies are being performed using both data collected with the ATLAS detector at the LHC and simulated samples for detectors at the FCC-ee.

The project benefited of an ANR funding under the JCJC program (ANR-21-CE31-0012), which has enabled in particular to put in place a PostDoctoral contract for a duration of about 3 years.

Members of the Team

  • Reina Coromoto Camacho Toro (CR at CNRS)
  • Bogdan Malaescu (CR at CNRS, Project coordinator)
  • Lata Panwar (PostDoc)
  • Luc Poggioli ( DR Emeritus at CNRS)
  • Christophe Roland (PostDoc - short contract of 2 months with this ANR)

Publications

  • “A precise measurement of the jet energy scale derived from single-particle measurements and in situ techniques in proton-proton collisions at √s= 13 TeV with the ATLAS detector”, arXiv:2407.15627, Eur. Phys. J. C 85 (2025) 927 .
